Tata Group has topped the Interbrand’s list of top Indian brands for the year 2017. The success of Jio has lead Reliance to attain the no. 2 position. This is the 5th edition of the list which has been identifying the most valuable Indian brands since the year 2013.

The year 2017 has been a year of numerous ups and downs in the business world. After Reliance, Airtel stands on the 3rd rank. Following Airtel are HDFC Bank, Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), State Bank of India, Infosys, Mahindra, ICICI, and Godrej which stands at no. 10 in the list. The brands which showed most growth are Maruti, Reliance, HDFC, JSW, and Kotak. The technology sector has shown the most promising results in the year. Royal Enfield is one of the brands which are having their name on the list for the first time with the brand value of Rs 9080 crore. Ambuja Cement is another new brand on this list with the ranking of 40 and having the brand value of Rs 1518 crore.

The total value of the brands in this list is estimated to be Rs 4,75,570 crore which is 5% more than the year 2016. However, no brand has been able to get a place in Interbrand’s Best Global Brands league table.
